MAN- This painting is close to a month or two old! I lost track! I Did this as a self portrait for my painting class, we were supposed to do an image that showed what represented or was symbolic/important to you.

SOOOO I did a lil of both.

Each thing shown in this has symbolism behind it, Most of which are from dreams! Some are just what I love- but I'm sure that one is obvious- HAH.

ANYWHO! I hope you guys dig! I would have posted this sooner but the best photo capturing device I have on hand is my cellphone! (So until I get somethin' better, this is all I got!) And since the image is 16"X20"...

I know I've already told you how much I admire this, but I still think it's fantastic that you're so advanced in almost every medium.

Oh good god, I love every bit of this. Every color and shade blends together so perfectly and I loe how the characters look in the pic. Like they seem to move.

Ohhh! Very nice! I don't see traditional paintings from you very often. Me likes~ So was this painted with acrylics or what?

Thanks Caylee! Haha in that case, maybe I'll post more of my paintings I've done!
I used oils! I haven't really gotten my hands on acrylics, but I know they don't blend into each other as much as oils dooo~
And Thank ya! The layout and the imagery is actually based on a couple of dreams I've had, I'm glad ya dig it!

Wow! Oils? I've played with those once upon a time but I decided I don't like them because they take forever to dry. That's my only complaint, but they do last forever (or should I say a very long time) and (like you've said) they blend well and are shiny. :D
You do a nice job with them~ :)
